2012 Direct Xchange 2 Weeks Away
The Direct Xchange, the National Etailing & Mailing Organization of America (NEMOA)'s annual conference for direct marketers, is a major forum to share, learn and connect. its not just another tradeshow and not about selling. This gathering, to be held in Boston, 14-16 March, is dedicated exclusively to the catalog and eCommerce sectors. The focus is on sharing industry knowledge and best practices among peers. Its a nice opportunity to learn, network and improve direct marketing results through knowledge sharing among industry leaders from across the nation.
While we will not be there this year, we do want to mention one of the Companies we turn to from time to time for strategic partnering on larger CMDB projects, Merkle, will be speaking there. Rod Ford, president and CEO of Merkle subsidiary, CognitiveDATA and Chris Wayman, vice president of Merkle's digital innovation practice, will both lead sessions.
Wayman will offer a presentation on Wednesday, entitled "The Hottest Mobile Marketing Trends for Multi-Channel Retailers." The sessions will discuss the use of mobile to acquire new customers and reactivate former ones, and will feature real-life campaign success stories. Should be interesting. Then on Thursday, Ford will join a panel of industry leaders for a lunch time discussion entitled "Best Kept Secrets of Leading a Successful Catalog Retailing Business." The panel will lead an interactive question and answer exchange with the audience.
If you're planning to be there you might consider adding these to your agenda. If you haven't heard of this conference, you chould check it out. NEMOA is a non-profit trade organization serving catalog and etailing companies and industry service providers throughout the United States. NEMOA provides companies of all sizes with affordable conferences to share ideas and experiences, build relationships, explore new opportunities and learn about industry trends and issues that affect direct marketers.
